1. Service description

PDF Tools (pdf.fluvion.cz) is a free online service for PDF file manipulation including compression, merging, splitting, rotation, reordering, image conversion, watermarking, password protection, and PDF/A conversion. The service is provided by PlayD4d ("we", "us").

2. Acceptance of terms

By using this service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Free service

The service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice. Donations via Buy Me a Coffee are voluntary and do not constitute a purchase or subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or security measures
• Use the service to process files you do not have the right to modify
• Use automated scripts to flood the service with requests
• Attempt to access other users' files or the administrative interface

5. Your files

• You retain all rights to files you upload.
• We do not claim any ownership or license over your files.
• Files are processed solely for the purpose you requested and are automatically deleted within 15 minutes.
• We do not access, review, or analyze the content of your files.

6. Service limits

To ensure fair use for all users, the following limits apply:

• Maximum file size: 50 MB per file
• Maximum pages: 5,000 per PDF
• Per-user storage quota: 200 MB / 20 files
• Rate limiting: requests are throttled per IP address

These limits may be adjusted at any time.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be available at all times
• Processing results will be error-free
• The service will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use this service. Always keep backup copies of your original files.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
